We have reason to celebrate! Together with our partner Mediasmart we helped bring KFC India home not 1, not 2 and not even 3 but 4 programmatic advertising awards for their cutting-edge Location Precision Targeting campaign.

On 22nd of July in Mumbai at the e4m Real Time Programmatic Advertising Awards KFC India won 4 awards in categories – Best Cross Platform campaign, Best Omni-Channel campaign, Best Mobile Ad Campaign and Most Effective Programmatic Media Partnership.
KFC India launched a campaign to raise awareness of the 7 minute express pick up which also promised a free piece of chicken if the promise wasn’t kept. 7 minutes really is fast even for fast food, and in order to make that happen the campaign used our Map layout feature that enabled users to discover KFC stores nearest to them.
The goals of the campaign were to drive adoption of the 7 minute express pickup service at a time when keeping your distance from other customers was essential. They were also looking to create engagement with the relevant audience.

Ultimately, the programmatic campaign resulted in a 3.48% CTR which is 3-6x higher than the industry benchmark. and helped countless Indians minimize the time spent outside in times of COVID-19. The campaign reached more than 5 million unique users and delivered more than 12 million impressions.
This helped KFC drive better conversions and helped expand the service from 31 cities to 164 across India during the 5 weeks the campaign ran during November and December in 2021.
